We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our team in Brussels.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Python-based applications, with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Python-based applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Deploy applications using Kubernetes/Docker containers on Linux environments.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.
Mandatory Skills and Experience:

Proficiency in Python programming language.
Experience with SQL Alchemy for database interactions.
Familiarity with FastAPI for building APIs.
Knowledge of Vue.js for frontend development.
Experience with Kafka for building real-time data pipelines.
Understanding of S3 for scalable storage solutions.
Proficiency in deploying applications using Kubernetes/Docker.
Familiarity with Linux operating systems for server environments.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with other backend frameworks such as Django or Flask.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
Understanding of DevOps principles for continuous integration and delivery.
Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate effectively with team members.
